Diet
- Decrease refined carbohydrates.
- Food allergies and food sensitivities are common culprits in chronic sinus problems. If you are afflicted with chronic sinusitis, I recommend avoiding the following foods:
- Milk/Dairy Products
- Wheat/Gluten
- Soy
- Eggs
- Eat as many raw vegetables and fruits as possible.
Lifestyle
- Use an air purifier and vacuum regularly.
- Drink plenty of water. When the body gets even slightly dehydrated it can result in dry mucous membranes in the sinuses
- Use a netty pot twice daily, in the evening and morning, to flush allergens out of the sinuses.
